Been married 10 years and have 3 kids that I love to death. I've been gaming since the days of the 2600 so yeah, I'm an old grizzled fart. If anyone wants to game with an honest player that isn't a grade A certifiable jerkwad, then FR me and I'll game with ya. I'm Hadokenchild on live. By the way, Mocha brought me here so kudos to you Mocha.

See, this is what I'm talking about. A noobie to the forums shows up and doesn't get flamed, cursed at, belittled, etc. *sigh* Such a nice alternative to many, many other places on the net. Congrats on the site and good luck to all!

Unfortunately I don't have R6. Last week I had to chose between that and Shadowrun, and I took Shadowrun. As soon as I get it I'll let you know.

XLN is a one of a kind site. Just about everyone here is like family to me. Except for dutchmike, He is a little crazy :p I'm on R6 just about everyday. So if you pick it let me know. I'm not on as much lately as I have to share with the hubby while my box is getting fixed. I have been thinking of picking up shadowrun, do you think it is worth it?

Only, and I mean ONLY if you think Counter Srike mixed with a bit of Fable sounds cool then maybe. See it's all multiplayer, just like Counter Strike. It even has the same purchase menu before each round to get weapons/majic/tech. While the graphics aren't next-gen, it doesn't take anything away really. I will say this, bot matches are nasty. A great way to get into it without jumping blind into an online match and getting frustrated. I really had a bit of dissapointment at first, but as i played it and learned it's nuances, it seemed worth it. Calling the strategy "rock, paper. scissors" doesn't do it justice cus it is deeper than that. Just download the demo if you aren't sure if you want to drop the cash for it. The only thing that knocks it down for me is the lack of match customizations like CS has; purchase time, money, weapons the bots use, their playing style, etc.

I have loved the Shadowrun Demo myself. Cant really get enough of it. When my box gets fixed it will defintally be a buy for me. But all of those things you want could come in a downloadable update though...

I have downloaded the demo but still need to play it. I was going to last night but my sister finally got UNO so I played that instead. I'll have to play it tomorrow if I can pry the controller away from Roadkill. :p

True. That was something I thought of as well. Then again, I think that with all 360 games. I allways look forward to downloadable content.
