Bungie's Halo 3 Your Thoughts?

I must say I'm quite amused.. somewhat...yes..

CO-OP is amazing.. like cooked crack.. we were playing till 5am and some buddies bailed due to work and they wanted a few hours of sleep.

* Normal is crap..
* Heroic is fun
* Legendary I'd recommend just don't do stupid run thrus or you'll get nailed!

Multiplayer was o.k me and a couple buddies earlier this morning .. 6-7 noticed some repetitive maps... I thought there'd be more but we kept getting Valhalla, Pit, Last Resort , (and some other ones I can't remember right now..)

out of 10 I can't rate this game cause I still want to see the CRISP clean ending.. so far the story has been good...

-.5 out of score cause Cortana pisses me off during in game interruptions..

It's good to hear that it's fun. I'm going to be picking it up today during lunch. I can't wait to try the Co-op game.

I ended up getting the game at launch, couldn't sleep. My buddy went with me.

I've played about 10 minutes. The graphics are good but not mindblowing. Maybe that will change further into the game. Metacritic has the game scored at 96 overall with 8 sites scoring the game a perfect 100. The helmet is beyond cool.

Right now I've got the flu so I'm not playing as much as I would like to. Hopefully I'll be well enough to play all weekend long.

I've only played an hour session of multiplayer, that was fun. Probably try the single-player friday.

I had my copy at 12:30am pacific, and was home by 2am. Started playing by 2:30am or 3 something am, yep i wait in a line :cool:.

That might be going too far man though i gotta say this is definitely better then number 2 however i think i only have 2 more levels to go.

There is definitely stuff that reminds me of the first one certain leveldesigns thats a plus.

The effects are looking good but then there is the graphics overall and you know just look at the ears and lips for instance not a big step up from halo 2 not a big reason to not like it but i just notice it at all the wrong times.

Gameplaywise everything seems more balanced i need more time to test but definitely seems like a good thing.

You got the A.I. definitely an improvement there at least when talking enemies....dont get into a vehicle with a teammate driving it just would not help your case at all.

Just finished the game on normal mode. Normal is way too easy but the game was still fun. I'd have to say I was very impressed with the last level. I haven't had that much fun on a level as of yet. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and you hope you don't take a wrong turn. I am going to attempt beating it on legendary tomorrow on co-op.

The first thing I noticed is that we were QUIET, not the usual jokes and fun...... strange.... :confused:

The graphics and gameplay are great, no scripting whatsoever. I only noticed one minor respawn bug...... you can 'ladder' through a level, by taking turns in dying whilst advancing through it.

I have never been a great fan of the Halo series and this 3rd edition will probably keep me intrested for about a month, it's just too arcady for my taste.

Nevertheless, a good game, but also a game that will keep me thinking that some chances have been missed, maybe I was expecting to much.

I've had my say....... now you can flame my a** :p

I need to get another 360 now! Maybe once the girl that hit my moms car a year ago sends my mom the money it will cost to fix, I can get one with some of it. Who knows if the girl will even do it though.

Wasen't funny cause I wasn't there :P... I woulda tea-bagged alll the aliens and made some perverted jokes.. .. and I'm guessing Gebbie was sober.. cause he had homework..thats another major factor in NO FUN mode.

Next time you do co-op give me a shout.. I'm 3 missions away from finishing heroic..

If it was the girls fault , and your mother got her information then shes liable to pay..why?.. cause she hit your mother...and thats the way the law works... if she dosen't awnser her phone calls and you go on her house and she doesn't awnser just call the police they'll settle it for you.. just make sure you had witnesses.. or your screwed (p.s can't be you or a sibling..)

I just funished it on Heroic last might which to me seemed more like "Legendary Light", more difficult then previous ones. My main gripe, no autosave at checkpoints. I played for 3 hours straight till right after the ending cinematic I got a "disc is unreadable" messege. That and AI squadmates are about as usefull as a sack of drowned kittens. I guess if they were of any use it wouldn't be that difficult of a game then. For some reason I didn't get a few level cmpleted achievments. And the "boss" fight was waaaay too easy on Heroic. I've been hearing lots of comments that multiplayer is basically Halo 2.5. Then I noticed that people are playing it like Halo 2, not using any of the new equipment. Once people get used to using Bubble Shields, Trip Mines, etc., I think they will see it differently. Overall I love this game and can't see myself going back to Gears Of War anytime soon.

The game does'nt promote fun stuff....... we were scouting the game as it were! I can't see myself doing the solo missions though, CO-OP all the way! :cool:

After owning a PS3 for nine months (yeah my fault) I can really appreciate a game like Halo 3. There is nothing on the PS3 that comes close. IMHO Halo 3 will go down as one of the best games ever. There are parts of the game where I stop playing just to look at the environment. Halo 3 is more like the original Halo plotwise with updated weapons and vehicles and great graphics (true some parts are average) and less like Halo 2 which I think is a good thing.

dont mean to be a halo basher but i honestly think heavenly sword looks better than this game...and really thrashes it environment wise....

I played a bit last night online in a team battle game. I found that I was loosing interest quickly. I think COD 4 multiplayer is more fun and much more fast paced.

I'm playing through the campaign, and so far WOW comes to mind. I'm not done yet, but this is the funnest of the 3 to me.

Even managed to use some of the new weapons, and vehicles.

Finished Heroic Yesterday

got my self 300 GP.

Ending was worth it... bringing it over to my buddys house (its hes birthday) he says he wants to play it .. :P

over alll point avrage would be 9.5 .....woulda been a perfect 10 if those stupid Cortana msg's dident keep re-appearing.

All finished, played through on normal difficulty and got points for easy too.

Interesting ending, though i'm sure all difficulties end a little different.
