Xbox Live API

Hi Folks hoping someone can point me in the right directions. I'm looking to build a simple app where you can enter a gamertag and get their last status message returned. I'm looking to build an app that notifies me when one of my friends is online?

I know the Xbox Live API is closed to new apps, and know that XUG.com had an webservice that is now also closed.

I'd love to be able to do something without screen scraping xbox.com

I'm the developer that made all that stuff on XUG.com too.

I'm creating a number of new api's you can use here too.

I'll let you know when the api's are available

the webservice is just a xml you can call/parse from whatever language you want

No that is not allowed and it would violate my agreements. The api service is towards the XLN database and we get the data in a secure way.
