XLN TEAM GUIDELINES
Joining XLN Team
Anyone that is a member of XLN has the opportunity to start a team. Whether it be a casual or professional team. All you need to do is contact one of the Administrators and let them know you would like to start a team.
Mission Statement
XLN Teams is a place where clans or individual teams can not only represent themselves but also represent the XLN community they belong to. The absolute goal with the XLN teams is to create a large clan based community as well as a means to help those gain a foot hold in the gaming industry.
XLN Team Rules
All team members must be active members of www.xboxlivenation.com (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/) and abide by the XLN community rules and guidelines found here:

All teams must use the (XLN Team) before their team name. Example: XLN Team Cypher. All team names must be respectful and rated PG 13.
All XLN Teams are to be one level only. Meaning there will be no distrubition or giving one team the power over another team. It is XLN that will decides if and when a team will be able to carry the XLN Team name or not. Each team themselves can not integrate other teams under them.
Notice
Any team that breaks what is stated above, or breaks the XLN rules and guidelines will loose their privilege of being an XLN Team. Also all XLN Teams must remain active on the forums to keep their XLN Team status. If an XLN team is in active on the forums they will receive a 30 day notice stating they must become active to mantian their XLN Team status. If the team reamains inactive after the notice. That XLN Team will loose their sub-forums as well as their XLN Team status.
What Are XLN Teams?
Essentially XLN Teams is a league of teams that not only represent themselves as individual teams but also a team that is part of the XLN community. Each team will be run by individual leadership and individual team structure. Although teams may be separate they should support each other as they are all part of the same team which is Xbox Live Nation. Remember as an XLN Team you not only represent your individual team but Xbox Live Nation as a whole.
It is up to each team to pursue sponsorship if they wish to compete on the professional level, or the teams have to option to play just for fun. If a team gains sponsorship XLN does not require any kind of benefit other then each team wearing the XLN logo and URL address present on the team shirts at every event. Every team will have 100% control over the sponsorship that was earned by the team.
If the team would like to contribute financially to the cost of XLN they may do as they see fit, but it is not required.
Teams that are sponsored and want to help other XLN teams get to that point are more then welcome to aid in any way. We are all family here at XLN. As family we should all help each other out in any way possible.
As an extra bonus XLN will use their contact list to support the teams whenever possible.
