I was going to do this today with Gebbie , October 1st.. but it slipped my mind that it's my fathers birthday and I won't be able to probably attend as I may have to go out for dinner.
For people who don't know or may be confused in Halo 2 skulls were introduced you find them and they can do undesirable things for example.. take away your HUD..
Now in Halo 3 Skulls add tinks to the game... for example Silver Skull: Grunt Birthday Party: "If you shoot a grunt in the head.. you will hear children cheering "yay!" and a confetti will fly around in the air.
after collecting all the skulls you can use them helping your friends in legendary or using them in Meta-Games increasing your meta score to show how much of a master you really are in Halo 3.
There are 9 Gold Skulls & 4 Silver Skulls.. After collecting all of them.. You get access to a new helmet.
Skull List & Effect -
Gold:
1. Iorn Skull - Effect: When You Die You Restart The Whole Level.
2. Black Eye Skull - Effect: When you lose shield, the only way to get it back it to melee an enemy.
3. Tough Luck Skull - Effect: Your enemies never back down, always make their saving throws, and always charge you.
4. Catch Skull - Effect: Your Enemies throw LOTS of grenades.
5. Fog Skull - Effect: “You’ll miss those eyes in the back of your head.” You lose your motion sensor.
6. Famine Skull - Effect: Enemies drop 50% of the ammo they usually drop.
7. Thunderstorm Skull - Effect: All enemies are given a field promotion, and ranked up to their next available level.
8. Tilt Skull - Effect: Makes enemy resistance much greater. For example, Brute power armor becomes nearly impossible to take out with nearly anything except for plasma bursts.
9. Mythic Skull - Effect: All enemies have double their usual health.
Silver
1. Blind Skull - Effect: You lose your HUD when this skull is turned on. You won’t see your weapons, shield, radar, etc.
2. Grunt Birthday Party Skull - Effect: When you get a headshot on an enemy Grunt, they will explode into confetti, and you’ll hear children cheer, “Yay!” in excitement.
3. CowBell Skull - Effect: Explosions become much bigger in the game.
4. IWHBYD Skull - I Woulda Been Your Daddy - Effect: Unlocks hidden dialogue throughout Halo 3’s campaign. (for those who can't hack legendary :P)
