Xbox live communities.

A place where clans/communities can look at leader boards specific to only people in thier clan/community. Much like the live communities on XUG. This could also be used in thier own communities as the signature for XUG. All must be a member of XLN to use this feature.

This may draw seperate communities to the website just for that one feature. It would also gain vast community members. Which in turn would promote other features created by XLN. Don't know if this is possible it is just a wish for the list.

Are you saying a leaderboard to view only clan members, or a clan leaderboard for all clans associated with XLN? I'd like a ranking for clans as a whole. You could view ranks by game and what XLN clan is leading in that specific game.

I was thinking about something like this as well, but more in line with the ticker. I know it's an AJAX rss ticker, but would there be a way to possibly have a "defined" list of gamertags that aren't necessarily signed up on here (in the xlnDB). For instance, on a clan site, would there be a possiblity of either loading gamertags from a local db or xml file and then running the checks on status from there? Just thinking of ways to spice existing apps up. :)
