Connection issues.

I while back I was having trouble taking my cable modem from my PC and getting my 360 to connect, even though I'd been doing this with no problems since getting it. I fixed it be entering the physical address from the PC as the alternate physical address in the 360.

I've connected once since then but had to go through the sequence as if I were changing the PA again, even though the one I entered before was still there but it worked. Over the weekend it would not connect again, no matter what I tried.

Is it possible that my ISP has changed the physical address of my PC?

Normally the cable modem networks will dynamically assign addresses (DHCP) after a certain time some ISP's change the ranges and/or addresses


So to verify
go to a command prompt (cmd) and type "ipconfig /all" and hit enter

That will give you the information you may require.
