XLN Achievements Launch

All,

The Xbox Live Nation Achievements overview page shows you what achievements you can earn here at Xbox Live Nation. The achievements are asigned to members automatically based on the follwing principles:


Activities a gamer has displayed on Xbox Live and Live Anywhere.
Activities here on the Xbox Live Nation website.


On the achievements page (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamerbadge.php) you can directly access your own achievements if you are a member. To view the achievements of a gamer/member just use one of the available links in the forum posts or in the Live DNA of a gamer.

The overview page also includes a small leaderboard and a full view of all XLN achievements a community member can obtain.

The XLN Achievements page is accessible from the "Community" menu and the "Live functions" menu on the forums.

On each post you can directly see the number of XLN achievements a gamer has and clicking it will bring you to the overview page of that gamer.

Yeah, awesome job as always :) One thing. Might be just me but what about showing just the achievement pics when viewing somebody's list and have the achievements description as a popup or something?

That way it would be easier to see all of the achievements at once, expecially since they're hopefully going to be growing in number for everybody

Just added a new "viewer mode" and "page mode" filter when you are viewing your achievements and the achievements from another user (via the forum orange button or via the Live DNA achievement link).

I just thought of a couple, how about one for Xbox Live Ambassadors? One for retail games, like the ones for XBL Arcade games, 25 retail games played, 50 retail games played, etc.

XLN Achievements are assigned automatically by the XLN core engine.

As an addon you can now also directly see the achievements in the Live DNA pages of a gamer. To get a Live DNA page click a gamercard, use the links in the leaderboards or use the "Your Live" function menu on the forum.

forza motorsport 2
ace combat 6
ghost recon [graw] (maybe having 1 & 2 or some predetermined gs.)


at least in my opinion... lol :D but at least those games are pretty popular so its feesable.

Having a full Friendlist
Owning over 50 games
Owing X-number of sequels of games (For example GRAW 1 en 2 / PG3 en 4 / NHL 2K6/2K7)

Maybe there are some options to see how long a player has been on Xbox Live (in hours / days/ months / years) and how long he has played online within that time. I think thats also nice to include it in the forum gamerinfo next to the joindate, location and more of that stuff.

Not sure how often the XLN Achievements are updated but Game achievement: I don't have a gambling habbit, given to all gamers that have been playing Texas Hold'em and have reached a score above 40, has not been given to Naples3 having scored 45. Nor has Naples3 been given credit for Game achievement: Classics 1, given to all gamers that know their classics and have played Doom, which has been done. Is it the engine or the timing? :eek:
