1up Yours this week (11/09/07) mentions a couple of "hot rumors" near the end of the podcast. Here are the transcripts from the relevant segments in the podcast:

Shane: I won't go into exacting detail because these rumors haven't been confirmed but they're definitely swirling around. They're probably gonna break next week. So a preview of what you may be seeing next week. A big Microsoft first-party title that has been in the works for a very long time that people are very excited for, sounds like it's being canceled. And a Microsoft executive who's pretty high up, who's been a voice for the company, sounds like he's on the way out. (1:58:11-1:58:37)

Simon: How solid are these rumors? (1:58:46-1:58:48)

Shane: I would give these rumors like a 97-percent chance. (1:58:50-1:58:55)

I'm thinking J.Allard is the one leaving, cause he is the only one I can think of that has been the bigger voice of the 360 next to Peter Moore who is already gone. Who knows what the game could be, maybe Banjo, or another Rare game. I'm thinking it's a Rare game that got canceled. Perhaps the Viva Pinata party game?

You might be on to something with J. Allard, but i don't think it's the Viva Pinata: Party Animals game (used ign :o).

Need to focus on the key words:
A big Microsoft first-party title that has been in the works for a very long time that people are very excited for, sounds like it's being canceled.

No telling what that implies though, other then it's been in development for a while.

It must be a Rare game though, not sure what else that we do know about is being made by a Microsoft studio. Unless they, I hope not, cancel Fable 2. There aren't many first party games, that are really big except for Banjo and Fable 2 that would be thought of being canceled. It was said that it was a game that people have been waiting for.

Something tells me it might be Too Human.

It's definitely not Fable2. Their devs have posted on their forums that they have not been cancelled.

Don't think it's the fable 2 thing as I still see a lot of fable 2 assets on the press sites

Could be Too Human, since that has had some of the most delays, I actually forgot about it, lol. That is probably what is being canceled. They have run out of excuses in my opinion for delays.

I had the same feeling, i just hope i'm wrong. As that is a game i'm looking forward to, as well as keeping an eye on Fable 2.

The only delay i heard about, was do to them having to make their own engine. Something about epic dropping the ball, with the unreal engine they needed and suing epic over it.

Don't forget that Too Human (origionaly a Playstation game back in 1999) has pretty much been in development for almost a DECADE!!! So that along with the Epic fiasco and the early buzz from it's E3 showing was less then stellar due too camera issues, collision detection problems, and choppy frame rates (which as of April this year have not been fixed according to IGN).
