Let's say that one more time: come December 2, you will be able to download full, original Xbox games to the Xbox 360. The initial list of available games includes Fable, Indigo Prophecy, Crimson Skies: High Road To Revenge, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex, Burnout 3, and, of course, Halo: Combat Evolved.

this is all i got to say if it happens i believe it if it doesn't well for now i still don't believe it don't get me wrong it would be cool if they did that cuz that just means ps and wii and gonna need to do more if they want to stay in that competition

I just read the official announcement on Teamxbox's site. We will be able to download select original xbox games for 1,200 Microsoft points. It also stated that all xbox live members will get a free arcade game over live marketplace and those of us who have been members since 2002 will get 500 Microsoft points. The free arcade game and points are in celebration of 5 years of Xbox Live.

In regards to the fall update and original xbox titles being downloaded, Microsoft as already announced issues with the service. i.e. framerate drops and additional content in games not being supported.

You would think they could fix the extra content problem by simply taking it out or something. It kind of surprises me that they would start a service and say "yeah this is great, but don't try any of the extra content, it might crash your system or lock up." That sounds like a lot of fun to deal with.
