Standard Kings pawn when playing white and I prefer Sicilian when playing black.

I think thats the most common open,everyone uses it.and for a good reason...it works!but once that happens I always bring out me knights,your first goal in chess is to get control of the four squres in the middle ;)

Standard=common=everyone uses it, my young padawan! :p

Back when I was in my teens (when dinosaurs walked the earth) I really played alot, these days I allmost never play :(

I start with the king-side knight and move it to the edge of the board. This prevents the 4-move check mate. ;)
