First off, the staff at MSN Games would like to wish everyone out there a very happy Thanksgiving Day! For those who aren't in the States, even if this isn't a holiday for you, rest assured that we're celebrating enough for everybody. ^_^ In all seriousness, though, I wanted to take this opportunity to express how thankful we all are for your support over the past year, for everyone who played our web games and tried our downloads, for everyone who wrote in to express their opinions of our site (both good and bad!), and for everyone who made our multiplayer board and card games so very challenging to win. Without our players, we'd be just a bunch of geeks and web monkeys living in cardboard boxes on the street, and we don't need a holiday to remind us to be grateful to you. Thank you. Thank you so very much. You rock!
As you may have read here earlier this week, we're doing something absolutely crazy this holiday weekend: every single PC download game on our site is 50% off (http://zone.msn.com/en/general/article/thanksgamingsale.htm). Bar none. Even Diner Dash: Hometown Hero and Luxor 3, which we only just launched. And of course each game still has a free trial download, so you can make sure you like something before buying it. This is a great opportunity to stock up on stress-relievers for the office PC and evening distractions for the home system, or even pick up a few gaming goodies for friends and family. (After all, what would you rather see written in a holiday card: "Hope you have a good year!" or a code for the full version of Bookworm Adventures?)
And with that, I'm signing off and heading for the kitchen to bake my traditional "you'll want to eat it even if you already feel like exploding" pumpkin pie. Again, a very heartfelt thank-you to all our MSN Games players, and I hope you choose to stick with us for yet another year. We have plenty of great new games lined up in the coming months, including exclusive launches in both December and January (more news on that later!), and we can't wait to hear how you like them. Happy Thanksgiving!
