All,
I'm working on a badge / icon system to define community members more.
Please drop in all your suggestions about type and typology.

a few ideas for badges.. I'll update as I think of more. :p
*XLN Beta tester
*Number of people pulsed or has used the pulse feature, or something to do with the pulse
* member of XLN Team xxxx
*helpful community member
*has played 25 50 75 etc. game titles

No,
It will be something like the icons on xbox.com
If you reach a certain level in the community or in xbox live you automatically get an icon on you Live DNA page and on the forum.
ha i like it...heres a few
acheivement addict-over 15,000 GS or higher..or bigger/smaller if you want
comunity contributer-donates to XLN
Recruiter-over a certain NO. of refferals
anchor man-posts over a certain NO. of news articals
XLN addict-spends over 2+hours a day on XLN
Insane poster-posts over a certain NO. daily!
just some ideas...the list goes on!:D

10 days in a row playing 20 days, 30 etc..

1-10 place on leaderboard

as far as i know their all from xbox 360 voice.com....i might be wrong,but if they are can we take them?

I want this to be more or less unique in a sense that it will focus on community.
The badge idea is not new but we should make it so it has unique features.
There will certainly be overlaps but there are only so many manners in which to interpret data.

some of the badges on the xbox.com forums are helpful, such as technical advisor, etc.
staff badges would be good.. too bad im not staff..hah:cool:

hows about badges to represent countrys...?
Like a canadian flag for me.. and a yankee flag for gebbie... and so on and so fourth.. to show that the community is international and world wide.. insted of looking at there profiles...and stuff..

drop in some live ones too based on the dna or on gamerscore or on combinations of certain games played.

pass 100,000k gamerscore :eek:
get 1000 gamerscore on any game
get 1000 gamerscore on any 5 games
played over 30 titles ect....
played on live for 5+ hours
fill your friends list up to 100
have stonyarc(or any staff member)added to your friends list
complete 5+ RPGS,FPS,platforms games ect......

another (obvious) idea would be staff badges le content editor, Mod, etc...
Maybe have clan leader etc. & perhaps give the individual clans the chance to come up with their own badges (if applicable).
I agree with the active members, tourney winners, etc....
