All,
The Xbox Live Online Gamers Ticker is now available for us to test out on our personal Livespaces, Myspace, etc. I currently have the Feed set up on my Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/mochamomma78) and LiveSpaces (http://mochamomma78.spaces.live.com/) if you would like to check it out.
To set the ticker up on Myspace:
Visit SpringWidgets.com or a premade one is available here (http://www.springwidgets.com/widgets/view/4389). If you would like to change the color or size of the widget to fit with your myspace theme click the options button at the bottom then Customize Widget. Don’t change the Feed URLs or it won’t work.
To set the ticker up on Live Spaces:
Log into your Live spaces account. Click on the customize link on the top right. In the tabbed window that opens up Select Modules. Scroll down and select Other, than click on add feed and close the window. Make sure you click Save at the top. Your new Feed is located at the top. Click Edit. Chose a name for you feed (I chose XLN Gamer Ticker) and enter in http://www.xboxlivenation.com/api/xlnapi_status.xml in the Feed web address. Lastly select how many gamers you would like to be shown.
