It's again with some pride that I announce a new feature we have running here on Xbox Live Nation.

The Game planner allows members of Xbox Live Nation to plan both multiplayer and single player gaming sessions. These sessions will automatically appear on a special dedicated Gaming calendar.

The application is multi timezone aware both on the listing pages and the calendar where it adopts to the timezone you have set on registration. This can be configured in the usercp.

From the different listing pages you can directly visit the Live DNA from a gamer, send a friend request or send a Live message.

The public timeline gives you an overview of all the sessions planned by the community members. To access the calendar view click here.

The entries are listed based on their start date. If you are logged in and want to start planning your sessions use the "Your gaming sessions" link in the left menu and follow the simple 4 steps to plan a session.

Select the game from the drop down
Enter a message or give some more information about the session
Set the time and date
Enter the security image and hit enter

The easiest way to see the active or planned sessions is to use the calendar view. To access the calendar view click the "Game Planner Calendar" on the left menu system on the Game planner page.

If you are on the Calendar view you can also directly add Game sessions from there.

As an addiotional feature you can directly request Game session reminders if you look to the details of a game sessions.

Don't forget you don't have to just read about it or check the multiplayer schedules already there you can also use it as your individual game scheduler.

The more we know about the community the better.

The next release of this application will include subscription to multiplayer schedules.

I have opted not to do that (even though it's possible) because of the fact that if even planned, if a sessions doesn't happen people will not have the reflex to remove it.

I think we should have a sign up,like if you post a new game session there should be a button beside that that says "count me in" or "I will be there", once thats clicked your name will show up underneath that session or beside it, just to give a rough ides of who we can expect to show up...

All,

I made some major changes to the game session planner.

With the right permissions you can now also add community events. These are major events organised by either Xbox.com, XLN or other community sites.

I added a drop down menu in the navigation for the different calendars and added a in-calendar navigation.

The community events can also be read using rss enabled applications.
