Problems on Live

There can be several issues on Live

Users may experience issues performing transactions dependent on Windows Live ID availability including but not limited to Xbox 360 and Zune account creation, renewal, recovery, all DMP transactions, and logging into or creating Windows Live ID accounts.

Users will experience intermittent issues including but not limited to: Tournaments, Storage Downloads, Gamer Tile, Statistics through Arbitration, Match Making, and Messaging.

Additionally, Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 users may experience issues joining matches or posting statistics.

Customer Support may also experience issues referencing customer data. We are aware of the issue and are currently working to resolve it. We apologize for any inconvenience.




Please do not try and recover your gamertag for now as it will not fix these issues.

lovely. when i called last week, the lady said that "the engineers are aware of the problem and are working to correct this." perhaps the issue was more wide spread than originally expected.

oh well, it'll be SP for the time being i suppose.

If you need to check the status for live, just go to the support section at the xbox site and there should be a stats report window on the top right of the page.

I can't connect today. Theres a lot of angry XBL solders out there. frankly, I've had my account from (almost) the beginning. This is just a set back, I can only think of one other time this has happened to me. Nice gesture to get a free game, although I don't know if I could get it. LOL.
