Ironic given multiple reasons. The one that immediately comes to mind is the fact that Snake Pliskken is a character from a movie, and not a real person.

Anyone else care to chime in with anything that I missed?

uhm....no he's not...solid snake, Solidus Snake and liquid snake are the only snake characters in MGS2...plisken was always a movie character...but solid snake was inspired from his character!

Its from the escape from L.A. and New York movies wich did inspire Kojima when he created the character Solid Snake who did go by the name of plissken during the Big Shell incident in MGS2.

It is kinda ironic that that playground in Bosnia-Herzegovina was gifted but that the school no longer stands after allied bombings.........or am I the only one on this? :p
