View Full Version : Frontline kills my router

Just got Frontline Fuel of War and cannot get in a single game. Then I notice that when I was able to connect to a game (one of only 2 times) my router lost all lights and disconnected. About 45 minutes later the same thing try try try get in 1 game and router craps out. Now I have tested my connect since on COD4 and Turock and they work fine swap discs and the same thing all over again.

My connection is decent at 5megs, NAT is open , and never have a problem getting or staying on live till this game. Is it just me , or is this a big problem. I have tried everything and still nothing. God I hope this gets fixed soon!:mad:

Also does anybody else have FFOW , and if so have you been able to get on?

We have the game but I personally haven't tried it yet (as in I've not put the disk in my 360). My fiance is trying it out now for you on his 360...

First of all he gets a message telling him that his NAT isn't set to Open yet we know that it is. He even double checked by testing his settings and lo and behold, its Open! Trying again its fine.

Ok, he's just got into a game no problem and the lights are still stable on our Modem.

I'll have a quick look round the interwebs to see if I can find anything.

I had no chance of getting on any match until yesterday....It worked out of nowhere :confused:

I guess a poltergeist has taken possesion of my 360 :rolleyes:

NO MORE PROBS for me at least. Yes on friday I was able to get in and stay in a ranked 50 man match , and it was awesome. Their server status page said they were gonna roll out the fixes over the weekend and they did. I will see you all on the battlefield.

There where some problems with this game indeed, i had quite some trouble getting into a match to.

Luckelly it did not kill my router, but i did notice that each game session i did play i was disconnected from Xbox live after abouth an hour of online gameing.

This was only with Frontlines, at the moment i borrowed it to a friend of mine.
so dont know if the problems are still current!
