latest assasins creed update makes it unplayable

I just started up playing assasins creed again few days ago and everything was fine i have been looking for flags and killing templars to get my mind of gta 4.
Now half an hour ago i start it up...it said there is a new update available for this game...so yeah i update it...

And now it all seemed to work fine...untill i tried skipping the kingdom to go for a city then i got a disc error so yeah i open up the tray clean the disc...insert the game and tried again...(and just so you know i take care of my discs no scratches and they allways go straight back into the box.)

Same error and after that i tried going into the kingdom and again same error so i knew it wasn't just about me skipping the kingdom...:mad:

Now i havent read about this yet cause i only usually check this forum and lagtv but i warn you guys dont install that update.

Now im gonna try different games to check if it might be my 360...

Now i seem to have found a way to still play thing is i now have to hold down the A button during the loading....then i can play like usual...

yeah the update did some weird stuff to my save file on it. it made it so that i had to re-do some missions that ive already done, and makes that load screen take alot longer than before..

I have no problems having to redo missions but yeah loading also takes longer.

I dont know but it might be my console cause last few days i got the disc error when playing GTA i think have to send it to microsoft again.

I only experience it with these two games i tried some other games like halo 3 and they worked fine.

I will just wait untill my live expires somewhere this or next week and i will call microsoft to get em to pick it up.

I sure hope it will be the last time i have to make that call.

Probably to of the most massive games at the moment, maybe its because of that your xbox is causing errors only at these 2 games.

Thx yeah maybe its that but its not such a big deal i at least got to finish GTA even though i had to restart a lot and sometimes i can play for a few hours witrhout it.

And its not that long untill my gold expires so i just sit it out for another week and then make the call.
