It's probably just me but I do find the single player part a tad boring and the camera angle isn't what it should be.

I personally enjoy the singleplayer very much and in multiplayer i like the co-op matches cause in a good group you can have shootouts and chases that rival most action movies.

Maybe tonight get some XLN gaming going?

If so i will join after i get back from ironman.

Do you wear glasses??If you do then I would suggest you fix them, then the angle should look right:p

I know what he means , I thought it was just me. There is one zoom that is too close and the next is to far. Not a big deal . Thats about my biggest complaint about the game. And yeah the MP is pretty sweet (with the right group).

completly agree with the angle part, it still confuses me a bit sometimes but i think i'll get used to it... but i'm loving every single second of this game, got frustrated on a few mission today, but hell that's something that comes with all GTAs lol... can't wait to play online :mad:... keep :cool:[ ]

The game and singleplayer is fun in my opinon, engaging characters and story and everything. The multiplayer is good too, but I always end up playing against loud obnoxious people.

i disliked the angle at first but i got used to it and i now think it is better (although i do have to push the stick forward a bit). But i am loving the game, it's one of the most engrossing games of any GTA and Niko is extremely likable too :)

When the Xbox's Display Mode is set to 480p, Text Size on the cellphone is not an option, but when I switched it to 1080i the Text Size option appeared...
BUT now the problem is with 1080i widescreen the sides of the screen are cut off...

Way to go R*, way to eff up the game experience for the consumers who don't have screens that run at 1080p or 720p :mad:

Well, I have to say that I am enjoying the game a hell of a lot, the only thing that bothers me is the friendship aspect. I had healthy friendships with everyone I met until I decided to go and do some side missions to get some perks. Now Brucie is at about 39% Like, Packie at about 55%, and Dwayne in the 60% area.

Refusing to do something with them shouldn't be punished. I think they should have made it more like the dates in San Andreas where you just had to do something they liked when you chose to take them out. Now I'm having to put the phone in 'sleep' mode, call up someone for an activity, then put it back in 'sleep' mode, then pick them up, go and do the activity, drop them home, then put the phone back in 'sleep' mode so I don't screw up any more friendships.

If the phone stayed in 'sleep' mode until I undertook a story mission or manually disabled it, I wouldn't mind so much, but as it is, it's quite a nuisance to be bothered every 10 minutes, bombarded with calls and text messages from irate "friends". It's frustrating having to put the phone to sleep constantly, but it's the price I pay for wanting to actually get on with the game I guess.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game, I just think R* could have thought out this aspect a little more.

I agree with you. I get bored and go riding around or whatever.. go try to do the USJs or find pigeons (i bought the strat guide, so I know where they are). The sleep feature is good, but it causes problems that Ive noticed.

When I came out of sleep mode last time, two of my "girlfriends" called me almost back to back saying they wanted to go out, so now i have 2 appointments within a half hour of each other. That's not good! haha.. too bad they dont call you when they just want "coffee" and you don't have to take 'em out first.

One of the tricks that i noticed, with the friends - I don't know if it works with the girlfriends themselves, is that if you systematically accept ALL of the activity requests and then call them back and cancel the plans, you don't get negative points. Also, when you agree with the meeting to begin with you get positive points.

Granted if you cancel all of the activity requests, I'm sure that you eventually get negative, but if you cancel them when your doing something else, or (my favorite) ridiculously far from the contacts way point it gives you the time to finish whatever your doing, get in the contact's area, or get done slaughtering the townsfolk where your at and loose your wanted level.

The only angle problem i have is when you are driving. It always seem the camera wants to go down or its too slow when going around corners.

only time I have an issue with camera angles is when I ebrake round corners, thinkin Im comin out smooth n clean...perfect turn...n WHAM!!!the car I didnt see in front of me stops me dead:mad:
As for the single player, did u get through the first handful of missions???
Slow start, then it gains momentum nicely...this is the first game in a while I will weasel my way into goin home early to play.

I am kinda bummed about not being able to customize the cars or clothes that much. I thought they pumped that in their PR campaign , but I could be wrong. I swear I read that you could buy furniture and stuff from Krapia for your pad and store customized cars . maybe DLC..?
