Have you played the new BOURNE demo? I forget the actual name....like Bourne Conspiracy or something. It does something I wish more games did. It's like a shooter / fighter combo. Imagine a first/third person shooter with near-Tekken like fighting capabilities. Now the fighting moves in this game are not near a Tekken level but they are alot more and better than your average shooter. You have punches, kicks, and possibly even throws and grappling although not certain on that. I know I was very surprised at all the moves you could pull off. Much more than just a melee punch with your weapon. I was scared we might be getting something similar to the Mission IMpossible video game catastrophe a few years ago but this is not even close to that mess. This seems like the real deal. I wonder why there aren't more shooters that employ alot of fighting techniques? I just think that would be the coolest to have everything COD4 had in a shooter buy add to your character the fighting capabilities similar to a professional mixed martial artist. After all, soldiers are trained in hand-to-hand combat and it's supposed to be realistic right? Sounds fun to me. And you would have the option to attack like a ninja or shoot like a soldier. Anyways, I plan on picking up this Bourne game....it's a big start in the direction I was talking about and is pretty innovative in that sense I thought from playing the demo.
