Yes, but it will be developed by treyarch (the guys who did CoD3), and it's going back to WW2, but the Pacific Theater.

BTW, there's some rumors that the next Meadal of Honor game will be in modern day Afganistan, just it case you want to stay modern

My friend was in London visiting Treyarch (not Infinity Ward) and having a looksee at installment no.5 last Friday and was pretty enthousiastic...unfortunatly, we got hit with a NDA and can't tell anything about it till August....:(

Eh going back to WWII isn't great to hear but I would love a section shooting down incoming Kamikazes. That would be a blast. Also I would like a section saving POWS, great way to learn some history and rebolster the respect for the men that were really there. COD 2 and 3 both really made me stop and think about the shear nads on those fellas. HOO RA!

I can not stand going back to WWII. I love the "Modern Warfare" feel. Its current, its playable and its very pleasing. Going back to WWII drops a lot of the tech and in my opinion kills its appeal. Treyarch screws up again :|

I'm with you on that one. The maps are also again going to be too big, so there will be no 1v1 which is the only game mode I really play...:mad:

I think you have to see it as a return to the roots of the game.

It might have something to do with release of Battlefield and other similar games shortly.

It will be around October/November time because all of the Call of Duty series for Xbox 360 have been released around that time...:D
