Cleaning a xbox 360?

is it a good idea to clean a 360 unit with one of those disk cleaning systems? You Know, the 1's you place the disk into your drive and cycle it. does it do anygood or anything for that matter? Can they be cleaned at all? or when the message "disk is dirty" r "disk is unreadable". These messages just precursers to the RED RING OF DEATH"?

If you keep getting them and more frequently then your probably experiencing what i had!

Its a better idea to just send it in then! ;)

When my system went down , Microsoft said it was because I used compressed air to clean the vents . They recommended using a vacuum instead . But it probably won't help . I would contact Microsoft cause you're probably get the RROD soon . Sorry .
