several months back my launch 360 got the RRoD and I had to do the swap - well a good portion of my stuff was purchased prior to the RRoD so I had to be on line to use it. Very annoying when I was away and had no interent.
this past weekend I finally had some time and went to Xbox.com and followed the easy step and BAM , all my games are usable when I am not online , so happy now
