First off, I'll admit, I've not thoroughly searched through the forums to see if anything like this has been attempted. If it has, please let me know. Also, if there would be a better location for this thread, let me know.
This idea comes from the main reason that I joined XLN to begin with. I came here because of the response I received to a question I had printed in the "Official Xbox Magazine". Basically, I was looking for information to see how active any particular game's online presence was. While XLN doesn't show that exactly, you can get a pretty good idea of the potential any game has of having an active community. While XLN does not represent the usage of every single Xbox user out there, it is a start (invite more people to XLN!).
What I would like to attempt is to answer this question; how long did it take you to beat 'game x'? Before you even say it, yes, I know that this will not be an exact science. Some games show how long that you've played said game. Some games show what percentage of the game that you've completed. Some games show neither, while some show a mixture of that information.
If you'd like to participate, you'll find a 'form' below that could be used to help determine the average completion time for a game. Copy the form, fill it out (one game per form, please) and post your response to this thread. I'll aggregate the data and crunch the numbers and (try my best) to have weekly updates.
If you have any suggestions, thoughts, opinions on this project, please feel free to either post here, or send me a private message. So without further ado, let the fun begin!
(While the main emphasis will probably be Xbox 360 games, feel free to post information on original Xbox games as well. At this point in time, let's keep it to those two consoles, though, since this is the Xbox Live Nation, after all. :D )
