XLN Beta: Major changes

All,

I've implemented the following changes

- The game directory (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamedir.php) now shows not only who's online but also who owns or rented a certain game
Example: Click here (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamedir.php?gid=163&do=details)
- The game directory (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamedir.php) also shows demo's, original Xbox games, Dashboard, HD DVD drive, ...
- The live DNA pages (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamerprofile.php) will now also show demo's, original Xbox games, Dashboard, HD DVD drive, ... a gamer has played. The gamercard only shows the last 360 games
- The live blog (http://blog.xboxlivenation.com/) (general and personal) includes a new right navigation and a direct navigation item below the post linking directly to a gamers live DNA page
- The complete live system now contains an automated category system based on the following categories

Utilities
Arcade games
Demo games
Full games (Xbox 360)
Full games (Xbox)
Full games (PC/Live Anywhere)

- The category system is directly viewable in the game directory and on the live dna pages
- The main website has a module showing a featured application link
- The gamertag directory (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamerdir.php) now also shows the gamertile
- online gaming tracker is now also used to improved the last played information in the live DNA listing that should improve accuracy


To access the functions use the main navigation system or use the black live buttons on the community forums.

Please test all of this and report any issues.

I forgot one thing the online gaming tracker is now also used to improved the last played information in the live DNA listing that should improve accuracy

Quick thing stony, right above the "Live functions" title bar in each post, SOMETIMES the particular user's info pops up, ie StonyArc last seen playing.... or what have you.. i know it pops up for the signed in user, ie me, but it doesnt show for anyone else.

Imo, it would just be another innovative feature of our site.:D

Sonic The Hedgehog (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/splash/s/sonicxboxlivearcade/) (Xbox Live Arcade (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/livearcadexbox360/)) is missing from the list (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamedir.php?letter=s). I currently have 100 of 200 Gamerscore with 8 of 12 Achievements.

And the Gamerscore I have in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/splash/s/sonicthehedgehog/) (Xbox 360 Retail) is incorrect. It should be 0 of 1000 Gamerscore with 0 of 23 Achievements.



Also, the blog entries (http://www.xboxlivenation.com/community/gamertwit.php?gt=lightsup55) for Sonic The Hedgehog Arcade release (game I'm playing now) are incorrect as it is not possible to obtain over 200 Gamerscore or more than 12 achievements.

In other words, the second paragraph should say something like this (where x is the number of such obtained by XboxLiveNation.com community gamers):
Sonic The Hedgehog is played by x gamers of the xboxlivenation.com community. The maximum number of achievements is 12 (maximum reached x). The maximum gamerscore reached by an XLN community gamer is a x on a potential total of 200. On Sonic The Hedgehog the XLN gamers have reached a total gamerscore of x.

The sonic thingy is fixed now, I build in an additional check based on the possible gamerscore.

It looks good and its very user friendly. I'm digging the DNA charts for players, which looks at a player from every angle like graphs of time spent online.

I also enjoy the tickler we see to view who is online and where. Very functional, but visuals here could use a little boost.
