I'd never been to Santa Monica before this year's E3, but now I could probably get a job as a tour guide of the city. There were four different locations that you could see Xbox and Games for Windows titles during E3.
There was the Microsoft Press Briefing that took place at Santa Monica High School, the Viceroy Hotel that hosted events each evening (like our C3 @ E3 party (http://party/)), the Barker Hanger (easiest to think of this as the E3 show floor of old, but condensed into an airplane hanger sans booth babes) and then there was the Lowes Hotel.
Because we had so many playable games we wanted to showcase at E3, we transformed one of the ballrooms at the Lowes Hotel into a green-and-blue lit gamers paradise.
