All,


It got a new beta for you all. Ajax powerd Xbox Live embedded chat system


The Xbox Live Community Chat will allow you to fellow gamers in real time. Clicking the gamertag will open the detailed gamer information of the commnunity member.


You can access the application using the green top navigation.


Enjoy this application and make sure you dump in your impressions, errors or problems.


Enjoy and keep on gaming


ps: I also introduced the Beta Logo on all applications. It's linked to this beta forum.

I was wanting a chat so i'm glad that we got one. The one thing I don't like about it is the fact that you can't tell who's in the room or not. Maybe Stony can do something to fix that.

I like it, its certainly a great start :)

If anything I would love to see:
List of who is in room
Join/leave messages
Smaller icons or larger window so you can see more of conversation
and when you hit enter or submit message it removes the text you entered rather than you having to remove it manually

Those are just personal preferences but other than that it looks great

to see who's in the room or not is a bit tricky as this a real time chat version on AJAX.


It's more like a shout.


You can however directly see on the "who's online" page who is in the room.

The Community chat will now also display the online users at the bottom of the page.


That should be handy to see who is actually on the page.


To keep the list actual the page will also refresh every 5 min
