Final Fantasy to Remain a PS3 Exclusive

No Final Fantasy on Xbox 360

Square has finally cleared up any speculation and rumor. Past Final Fantasy XI, which has already been released, there are no Final Fantasy games slated for release on Xbox 360.


Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto disclosed information to Japanese company Nikkei BP that the developer is not going to be releasing any Final Fantasy titles on the Xbox 360.


Shinji's official statement during the interview was:


"For the Wii, we have FF Crystal Chronicles in production," replied Hashimoto. "As for FF on the Xbox 360, it's currently a completely blank page."


The Xbox 360 might not be getting any Final Fantasy love from Square but they are getting games like "Last Remnant" to fill that void.

I wouldn't call it a exclusive yet, this is an exec and which doesn't always mean anything. They may just be saying this so they don't have to say there is anything special for the 360. Who knows E3 will tell all.

The main guy basically said the page is blank... which means it could still be written... especially since its being developed into open code. They would be stupid not to...

LOL! That doesn't even confirm anything at all. All that means is they are still debating about what to do with the 360.

I still need to play through FFXII...
