Just came back from Rogers Video here in Winnipeg with 2 xbox live starter kits (meant for the original xbox). These kits include a mic, 12 month subscription to XBL and a live disc (with tetris and some other demos). Anyway these work just fine on the 360. Seems a lot of stores are trying to clear them out, as Rogers is doing. If you live in Canada check out your local rogers and see if they have any of these. If they do, chances are they will be marked at 10 bucks.
And even if you don't live in Canada, keep an eye on these packs anyway as there have been reports of other stores selling them for cheap (some reports mentioned seeing them for 99 cents). One store in particular to watch is blockbuster.
PS - if you live in Canada, while you are at rogers check out the used video games they have. Until June 25th at Rogers Video you can get ANY 2 used games for 30 bucks (no limits on platform, price or anything but it has to be used).
