Yes you all know someone like my canadian self would be making a pointless thread like this.
I purchased my first Xbox December 30th 05... and It died sometime Xmas 06
Now have one that was made 04/26/06 that died well I guess yesterday.. it was running on life support now it's in a box going to xbox heaven.
So I'll have another one within a week.
Post here if your xbox died.
If we hit more then 30 dead soldiers I will be convinced that the Xbox 360 has 1 Year Life Span.

Mine from Nov. 25 2005 never really died.... It did however fake its own death so that I could upgrade to the elite :P

We got our xbox in December of 2006. The date on the back said July of 2006 and it lasted till June of 2007. We didn't get the red lights though. Our DVD drive just quit working.

I just returned mine for another one...
Elite purchased two days ago for a grand total of five hours of play, then rings of death...at least their red and not blue...

The failure rate of these consoles is beyond belief, especially when you consider that both Sony and Nintendo have not experienced half of the problems Microsoft has with the 360!
So far my 2nd 360 is still working and I've had it since March 06.
