I have been really busy with volunteer work and being with my girlfriend. I do want to share a few things I have seen about the xbox360 and games as of late.

1. The new 360 slim is pretty nice even for its price at 299 US dollars. It has an internal 250GB drive and wireless N already with it (which is a nice thing). Runs quieter and hopefully no more RROD. Also it has the port for the kinnect periferial which will be out in a few months (it better do better than the wii).

2. Bad Company 2 has added a bunch of new updates and co-op. I love how it has been getting better and better with each add-on and update. I also play it now with friends from my volunteer workplace, too which is cool.

3. Get the arcade game "Snoopy Flying Ace". It is just downright fun and has all the Peanuts characters we know and love that we grew up with. And the voice-over for the characters is good too.

Well I have, now i'm not sure if its because I have four children or not, but noise seems to be all around you whatever way you look at it. Whether its the birds outside your window, or the cars driving down the street, there just seems to be noise everywhere you go, so what if everything was to go quiet. I mean really quiet, so quiet that you could'nt hear the birds, the cars, the people talking, nothing, absolute silence. What would you really think, or more to the point, how would you be feeling?

So how would I react? Fear definately, I hear so much going on around me through the day that I would start to notice the fact that I could'nt hear anything at all. And also I suppose at first there would be confusion, that would hit me hard, the fact that I cant hear any of the things that I would normally hear. You see a car drive past, and still you hear nothing, so you speak, and you don't hear the echo of your voice that you once heard so often, I would definately freak out. I think to have something for so long, then all of a sudden you lose it, you would be extremely confused, simple little things that you remember so much when you see them would be forever silent.

I suppose my first fear would be the fact that I couldn't hear my own voice, now I know I don't like my voice very much, but I would really miss hearing it, and I guess all I would want to do at first is shout. I would shout and scream as loud as I posibly could in hope that I might just hear something, anything. I think after shouting and screaming endlessly for 20 minutes or so, the penny would finally drop that I was deaf, and that I will never hear anything ever again in my entire life.

So how would you deal with something as harsh as that, I suppose you could go for endless treatments and hospital appointments, in hope and in desperation, that one day somebody may actual help you hear all of those things that you miss so dearly, or do you just get on with things as normal, and try and hope that you will succumb the fear and the anxiety that this new found deafness has brought upon you. I think that once something like this darkens your life, there is not that much you can do about it, and once that fact has been realized, you get to move on. But how long does this take I'm wondering, how many painstaking weeks would you have to endure the hurt or the anger, I guess this I will never know.

I see more and more deaf people as I pass through the streets of my city, and they all look so happy, and yes this does confuse me, I often think why are they are so happy, they can't hear anything. But then I look at the bigger picture, especially if they remember what they used to hear so often, they see the things, but just don't hear them, like the voices of other people, and the sounds of children playing. But because they can remember and relate to them sounds, it must make it slighty easier, or are they just simply putting up a brave face, I guess the only people that know the answers, the real answers, are the deaf people themselves.

I could'nt imagine losing my hearing, in fact after thinking long and hard about it, it would completely destroy my life, I do so many things in my life that evolve around hearing, and to have something then lose it suddenly, it would turn my life completely up side down. But I'd have to deal with it would'nt I, just like all those smiling people that I see daily.

Recently, I have been hearing and reading news that Activision canned the founders of Infinity Ward for breach in contract, etc, etc. This is what happens when you have 2 different game creation teams making the same series (Treyarch and Infinity Ward). I also know, the Infinity Weard founders are suing Activision for lyalties not paid to them for being let go. This kind of thing hurts mostly the gamer in more ways than one. Mainly, if you have 2 or more companies making the same game; quality issues arise and bickering between the brass of the companies occurs causing followers of the series to drop every upcomming game they make due to how they acted towards each other. That is why I left the CoD world (also due to cheaters), and went over to the Battlefield series. Also, Infinty Ward, Treyarch, and Activision DON'T listen to the gamer to improve things like glitches, cheating and mods which are exploits and destroy the fun (also, who wants to pay for multiplayer when you already pay for it to Microsoft?)

The Battlefield series is made by one studio (DICE). It keeps the quality the same or better and listen to gamer input on any subject related to the game.

I would recommend this game to anyone who has played the original two that came out in the late '90s and newcommers to the series. This (the original 2)was a game that started me on FPS.

Game Informer said the sensor "beeped too much". If you ever saw an Aliens movie; you would disagree with them on that because as something gets closer to your position, it lets you know.

I do think the graphics are excellent and that you can unlock new skins for each species (human, alien, and predator) in multi-player. I also like the fact that the marine and predator have their extra weapons strewn about in the level and you have to pick them up to get them.

I would rate this game about a 9.97 on a 10 scale. I found that in mostly every game I have been in lately, someone is trying to screw everyone by glitches, modded controllers to fire faster than the guns should, or cheat on health. :mad:

This was the final straw that broke the camel's back. I sold my copy of the game for BF: Bad Company. I do know that if someone in Bad Company tries to get an edge in that one, the game does an auto-kill on you. I just wish COD would be that way.

The multi-player is like Modern warfare 2 but with a Bioshock twist while the maps show Rapture in pre-civil war grandeur. I do like the expanded tonic part and plasmid numbers. Playing as a Big Daddy is also as fun as I thought it would be (I got the drill dash attack and that kicks butt). You can also take pics of your fallen foe in multi-player to get damage bonuses. I do hope they create more skins for the multi-player though.

I'm sooo mad!
I had my ipod in my jacket pocket, a jacket made for rainy/snowy weather, and water made it's way through the fabric and some how over moisturized my iTouch screen!
Now I can't use it! (for now)
