For those who know me know I LOOVVEE my soccer. I was very happy to have been part of an event tonight that took place in which members of The Screaming Eagle's club (One of D.C. United's offical supporter clubs) were able to mingle and meet some of the players from the team at a very casual social gathering.

What an amazing night:


Myself and Bobby Boswell. #32. Defender of the Year 2006. He's also on and off of our U.S. Men's National Soccer Team (don't hate!)



Myself and Ben Olsen. #14. One of THE best players in Major League Soccer and a huge part in our Men's National Team.



Greg Vanney, me and Bryan Namoff.


Myself and Domenic Mediate. He kept making fun of me all night because I was shy....and then he went and stole my glasses.....


Next to him is Rod Dyachenko.


None of these guys may mean anything to anyone, but I can't tell you what an amazing feeling it is being able to meet some of the people that you admire...for their amazing talent and skills. These guys truely appreciate their supporters and give a whole new meaning to down-to-earth.

that's pretty cool moe, meeting ppl that you watch on a regular basis, sports related or otherwise is always an interesting experience, some good and some bad obviously. for example when Bruce Willis was in Wilmington filming, that "i see dead people" movie (i forget its name right now)I heard he was an ass from some friends that went up to where it was happening at and tried to talk to him/get autographs.

on the soccer topic, i randomly started watching mls on HDNet, so yea its pretty interesting watching it i guess?.. Besides, i used to play soccer.. used to be pretty good until i tore my Achilles tendon during a game... so i guess i should get the whole idea of soccer (football to the Europeans :P)oh well.. you live and learn

personally, i have 3 chocolate labs.. i used to have 4.. but the oldest one had cancer.. was getting kinda sick.. etc..
