When it comes to gaming, those in the older generation grew up on Atari, Nintendo, and Sega. One of the most popular games was the Super Mario Bros.' series - originally coming as a free game with the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), but it spawned a series of sequels, movies, cartoons - and probably a food item or two in it's long history. At this year's E3 Expo, Nintendo unveiled a new side-scrolling Mario game, which looks pretty fun. Including 4-player multiplayer and most likely a few other suprises - this new game will be out in time for the 2009 Holiday season. There's a gameplay trailer, some art - and some screens after the break.
