XLN is proud to unveil another unique feature to you, the user base. The avatar speakers’ corner is based off the real-life speakers’ corner, with the original being in the northeast corner of Hyde Park in London, England. In the speakers’ corner, public speaking is allowed as long as the police consider the speeches lawful. Contrary to popular belief there is no immunity from the law, nor are any subjects proscribed. In practice the police tend to be tolerant and intervene when they receive a complaint or when they hear profanity. In this case, the XLN code of conduct applies to the content of the quotes.
The Live Speakers' Corner System is an application that allows you to have your avatar "say" just about everything as longs as it's within the boundaries of the Law, the Community Code of Conduct and the Live Terms of Service from Microsoft. Generated by XLN’s core engine, the users avatar and gamertile are superimposed on top of a custom-designed background created by StonyArc with the text entered displayed. Auto-generating both html and forum BB codes, these images are designed to be used with forums, social sites, and websites of your choice.
