This is definately music to my ears, and it will be to all music lovers too. All Seeing Games have been working on a little project called Crum Studio, that involves, you the gamer and your Xbox 360 drum kit, and all you have to do is create some hardcore tunes all by yourself, instead of playing along to tunes that you know and love, create your own. Once you have created your own tune, you can edit, save and do all the things that you would expect from an actual Drum Studio. Drum Studio is going to be available exclusively on the Xbox Live Indie Mraketplace some time this June, and for a cool 80 Microsoft Points, I know for a fact that I will be purchasing it. Players will soon be able to play, record, edit, save and playback their own song creations on their Xbox 360 drum kit peripherals in the form of All Seeing Eye Games' new game Drum Studio. Drum Studio utilizes the full potential of the drum kit to put the power of music creation in the players' hands. No longer will players merely play along to pre-determined drum lines. Instead, they will create their own jams on drums they've customized from a library of over 320 sounds. A simple & elegant recording interface allows players to layer in multiple tracks and hone their songs to perfection before they save the song, kick back, and watch an animated drummer play back their creation.
